Another holy crap moment: Yankees sign Red Sox Center Fielder and Leadoff Hitter Johnny Damon to Four-Year, $52 Million Deal.
This fills the obvious need at center field, and improves the devastating Yankee lineup, but they still need pitching.

I looked calendars today. Reviewed the 2006 Yankees calendar and the 2006 Red Sox calendar. The 06 Red Sox calendar featured Johnny Damon. I enjoy that. Interestingly, the Yankees calendar featured Tino Martinez and not Jason Giambi … The 06 calendars were probably put together before the 05 season.
